I don't know why this is happen. When I try to edit my yahoo messenger account profile via Messenger >> My Profiles >> Create / Edit My Profile, I've been redirected to the homepage of Yahoo. Disable Block Invisible Status Checker Hack

If you ask me what should you do if you want you never got check it by invisible checker, then I will answer in 1 years ago there no way you can avoid being checked it by invisible checker. But now, I believe, I found a new ways to protect our self from being checked it by such invisible status detector. Yes, We can block invisible status checker by using Yahoo Messenger Alias ID.

We knew that Alias ID (not main ID) can be set to active and inactive. When Alias ID inactive it would like Dead ID and the invisible checker would mark it as offline ID. So just use Alias ID as your main chat ID, and then feel free to inactive or activate it.

Instead of invisible using invisible status, inactive ID would make better protection for us. Including for boot attack and invisible checker.

How to Get IP (Internet Protocol) of Your Friend via Yahoo Messenger?

Internet Protocol or IP is an address used by a person to connect to the internet. An Internet Protocol address also mean the identity of the person in the World Wide Web. Internet Protocol also has the information of location where the person is stays and connects to internet. If the person who connects to internet doesn’t use proxy, we can track the location of her or his country by knowing his IP (Internet Protocol Address). Internet Protocol Address sometime can also track the city where the person location is.

Because this article is discussing about find or get IP from yahoo messenger, I want to share my knowledge about getting or finding person location by using yahoo messenger. Sometime when we are chatting with a friend via Private Message or Instant Message (PM or IM), we curious where the place of our friend is. If you using official yahoo messenger it is an easiest way to find your friend Internet Protocol address. Please read my tutorial below carefully and I guarantee you will be able to track and find the Internet Protocol Address of your friend.

First step we must to do is get a PM or IM with your friend user name or id. Then try to send a file (picture, mp3, etc), then wait until your friend accepted your file and your file begin transferred to him. If your and your friend connection has a huge bandwidth, I suggest you, to send a bigger byte of file. You also don’t have to do this step if you have their web cam yahoo messenger. After you done this thing, do the next step below (you can do this step before send a file).

Go to the command prompt application. If you don’t understand just follow this step (windows XP):

Start >> Run >> cmd >> Enter

Or

Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt

You will see a windows command prompt appear. Then write a command “netstat –n” or netstat –a” and press enter. Please note that the symbol “ not included when you type that command. You will see information under Active Connections list of Proto, Local Address, Foreign Address and State.

Active Connections indicate the connections being connected to your computer. Proto show the protocol you use to. Local Address refers to Internet Protocol in you LAN connection. Foreign Address indicates the Internet Protocol connection that connect to you and the port they used.

Now you just to seek a remote port that used by foreign address. Usually remote port 80 or 81 is used to transfer a file. Remote Port 5050 used for private message. And 5100 used for web cam. And Remote Port 5000 or 5001 used for voice chat.
The IP address of PM not the real IP of your friend. It belongs to yahoo server IP. But if you send a file or receive a web cam you will be get a real IP of your friend address because yahoo use Peer to Peer connection to service this utility.

The Secrets of Disappearing Nickname in Yahoo Messenger Chat Room

In my Indonesian blog, so many people want to know how to remove nickname and make nickname disappearing in chat room. When you nickname disappear, its not mean your ID or username also disappear or remove. It is just only your nickname. Your nickname will stand to blank in yahoo messenger list in chat room. You ID will stand in the high or upper level in the list.

How to make such disappeared nickname like that? There three ways to make your nickname blank or not shown. First, you can use a software to do that job. Just find that program on the web. Second, you can remove your nickname by change the language to yahoo main land or Chinese. Then figure out by yourself how to make your nickname disappear via yahoo mainland.

And finally, the easiest way to disappearing your nickname is fill your nickname via your yahoo profile editor page with “&” symbol (without quotes). Amazingly, your nickname will never be shown again in chat room (using official yahoo messenger, not unofficial yahoo messenger).

The weakness of this ways is, if some one who has also empty nickname that create using same method with you, yahoo messenger will detect an duplicate nickname arisen, then yahoo will shown your ID. It’s mean if someone make same empty nickname with you with same method, this method will not working.


To avoid this error, you have to add another “&” symbol to differ with others nickname (like “&&&&”).

You can also use “&” character to make spacing nickname with your nickname. That mean, before your nickname, you will see a blank or empty character. It will make your Id or nickname get higher position in list ID of yahoo messenger chat room.

You can also fix that problem by combine two methods of invisible nickname.

Go to toolKit menu and click Attribute, click ChatScreenAppearance. From here, you will see a new window appear and the window show you many options. Under “Your text is shown” button, check “My Tattoo”. The default tattoo in YahElite is a blue star. You can change this tattoo by change the character of font. Blue star is under “Wingdings 12”. Just click the button that has a text “Wingdings 12” and you can pick a lot of symbols or characters supported by Wingdings 12”. You can have more symbols by change to other font (available: custom, marlett, symbol, Webdings, Wingdings, Wingding 2, and Wingding 3). You can also change the color of your tattoo by click a button color pallet (right of “Your text is shown” button).

Try to use your tattoo by typing a message in chat room. If you want to convinced your tattoo working, login your another username or ID via official yahoo messenger. Thus, joined your username to the same chat room that you been login before. Watch your tattoo working or not.

For others chat clients you can try the tattoo by your self.

Create Public ID Yahoo Messenger Chat with 2 or More

This is not a MultiID that I been review and give to you before. If Multi ID have to change your register of yahoo messenger, Public ID are deferential of your main (primary) ID and do not have to change your yahoo messenger. Multi ID don’t have a limitation, but Public ID have a limitation. The limit of Public ID is 6 six ID.

With Public Id or Alias ID , you will be able to chat with your friend with 7 Id (including primary ID. You can join to room with one of your Public ID but you will never join room with 2 or more Public ID. This is not like Multi ID that can be joined to chat room with 2 or more ID. Public ID can be activated or deactivated depending of your self.

With Public ID you will be able to join to yahoo messenger with one of your Public ID. This mean that you will be able to join to yahoo messenger not only with your primary ID, but also with all of your Public ID can be used to join to yahoo messenger. Of course, your password of all your Public ID has the same to your Primary ID.

You can have a fun thing with using Public ID such as: changing Id frequently when your join chat room, chat with your friend with an ID that not knowing, disguise yourself if you met your friend in chat room and other.

Public ID cannot be used to login to yahoo mail. You must use your primary Id which have a same address with your yahoo mail to login to yahoo mail. You can create Public ID trough this step.

Open your browser and type this link: http://profiles.yahoo.com/username. If you are not logged to yahoo, you must login first to make that link appears. Click Create/ Edit My Profile Then click Create New Public ID. Follow the number of step trough that link. And Type your new Public ID. Save it. Now you have a new Public ID. Create another one until you create 6 Public ID.

After I write the article which note that ASCII nickname or unique nickname going available in chat room yahoo messenger, I decide to make a tutorial how to make an ASCII nickname. This idea came after I realize not all chatter knew how to make a unique nickname that uses an ASCII nicknames character.

ASCII nicknames character can be used to your yahoo messenger nickname and can be seen in chat room yahoo messenger. If you want to get a unique nickname with ASCII nicknames character on it, you must first know how to change your yahoo messenger nickname. You can change your nickname yahoo messenger by follow a menu trough windows chat room of yahoo messenger. Nevertheless, this is not a better step and I do not recommend you to take this step. The reason is, if you change your nickname via window chat room of yahoo messenger you cannot made an ASCII nicknames.

Make an ASCII Character to Your Unique Nickname

Below is some example of ASCII nickname. For a simple used, you can copy and paste this nickname to your nickname and use this nickname as your nickname. However, I suggest you to make an editing of its.

You can also make this kind of nickname trough Microsoft word via symbols and made a nickname trough Latin 1. If you use another symbol from Latin 2, you nickname doesn’t support with yahoo messenger. Yahoo only supports ASCII that mean Latin 1 and normal keyboard character.


Alternatively, for a better result and the easiest way, you can used an ASCII Generator software to make and ID like that. Here I give you software of ASCII Generator.

Update: Bad News: Unfortunately This trick not working anymore. If implemented this trick in chat room yahoo messenger, the ASCII will got an error. I wrote a short note that this method to create or make ASCII nickname or unique nickname not working anymore in here.

Good News: But don't worry. After a week seeking and finding a new trick how to make ASCII nickname work again, finally I fount the new trick to make ASCII nickname. In my other article, I have written about how to unlock Locked ID. What is the difference between Locked ID and Banned ID? It seem a same thing because Locked ID and Banned ID also can not be used to login in yahoo messenger. An easy way to understand the difference between Locked ID and Banned ID is, Banned ID is Locked up ID COMPLETELY.
